Linux Devops Engineer is required to join a leading global business in Newcastle-Under Lyme. The Linux Server Engineer will be responsible for managing the server estate globally, system automation and Java Support.

Salary: £50,000-£60,000
Location: Midlands - Newcastle Under Lyme

Key Skills

• At least 3 years’ experience deploying and supporting Linux Redhat/Centos/Suse in a commercial environment
• Experience with System Automation using tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef
• Good understanding of troubleshooting/managing DNS, HTTP, SSL, LDAP
• Experience in supporting JAVA based applications
• Experience working with large global server estates

Desired Skills

• Good understanding of various Devops technologies and tools

The role

The role of the Linux Devops Engineer will be challenging and interesting. You will be responsible for things like handling tickets, managing the global server estate, Automation, projects and out of hours support on a rota when necessary
