Qualified Accountant – Senior Manager is required by a well-respected Accountancy Firm based in Sutton in Long Eaton.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual as the practice is very progressive and growing rapidly. As this is a very senior role, the practice believes this would suit somebody who has worked either in a large practice or a small firm that wishes to now progress to working for themselves in a partnership /Ownership environment.

Role Overview:
Main responsibilities & Requirements will include:
• This role is very much client facing/advising, but with very definite partnership prospects in the short term.
• A number of years’ experience in practice is essential and an up-to-date knowledge of all accounting and taxation matters would be a requirement.

Person Specification:
• Time management, organisational and communication skills are a necessity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both spoken and written.
• A positive and proactive approach.
• A pragmatic approach to resolving situations, using own initiative where appropriate.
• Advanced MS Office skills (specifically Word, Excel).
• Experience with accounting packages such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, Kashflow.
• Excellent client service skills.
