This Residential Care Home is a family run company with an exceptional reputation of providing the best residential care that enables older people to live life to the full. Residents are encouraged to take control of their lives and be part of the decision making of how the home is run.

You will be joining a committed and extremely friendly team of over 30 staff to support up to 33 residents who have a range of needs and dependency levels. People who also have physical and sensory disabilities can be accommodated.

The house was once The Vicarage for Highweek Parish Church, Newton Abbot and has been extended to provide 31 bedrooms. It is in a highly desirable and easily accessible area of Highweek with large and pleasant gardens and on-site parking.

The role of Carer is both busy and exciting. Our client is looking for 30 to 35 hours commitment per week with the opportunity for additional hours to cover colleagues leave. It is key to ensuring the quality of life of those who live at the Care home and with the friendly and knowledgeable team of staff. They are a progressive home valuing the involvement of all staff and residents in all aspects of the service.

Benefits:
You will receive the equivalent to 5.6 weeks paid leave a year (pro rata), free uniform, training, and the opportunity to join a pension scheme. Staff also receive paid breaks and shift enhancements.
